VJ Boucher, Counsellor
she/her, BSW RSW

My social work journey started from a young age, and I have worked very hard to continue to grow my educational and professional background in the hopes of being fully equipped to help those in need of assistance, counselling, and support in our community.

I have a background in crisis counselling and have experience working with individuals who have been impacted by crime or tragic circumstance (including domestic violence, addictions, and mental health). My passion lies in art and play therapy; learning how to express big emotions and feelings through safely moving our bodies and allowing creativity.

My overall goal is creating a safe space, where you can be heard, understood, and believed. I am here to listen, support, encourage, and provide guidance. Everyone is always the hero of their own stories, and I would like to help you find the strength within yourself.
