Abby Keeble, Addictions Counsellor she/her, RSSW, MHSW
Hi there I’m Abby!
I am a Mental Health and Addictions Worker and Registered Social Service Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I am also a member of the Ontario Social Service Worker Association. Along with my education, I have 2 years of clinical experience which includes end of life care and inpatient addiction treatment. I have had the honour to work with a wide range of populations including those in the military and Indigenous Peoples. I have much experience in presenting to groups from public speaking competitions as a kid to facilitating grief groups to teaching education sessions on addictions.
I have met some of the most beautiful humans since starting my work in the addictions field and work with my clients on topics such as goal setting, accountability, coping skills, boundary setting, and relapse prevention.
In my work as a whole, I believe that self-compassion and positive self-worth are the basis of our wellness. We must have a positive relationship with self to recognize we are deserving of the good that comes into our lives.
In my free time, I enjoy painting with water colours, reading, writing, watching my beloved Leafs, playing golf, and enjoying all Muskoka -Parry Sound has to offer!
I look forward to working with you!
